The morning began with doughnuts, coffee and a fun activity to break the ice. One of our driver leaders was even crowned as the drivers’ favorite villain! Once the hilarity was out of the way, we got down to business. Tighe Logistics CEO, Bob Willert, thanked the group for their hard work and contribution to Tighe’s continued growth and success, before giving them an update on the latest news at Tighe and his perspective on what to expect in the coming quarter.
As we all know, change is a constant for the transportation and logistics industry. Our dispatch leader took the floor and invited the entire team to embrace change as Tighe continues to lead the way in New England. He explained how new ways of working enable drivers and the entire Tighe team to adapt and provide an even higher quality of service for our customers.
Next, Tighe’s Director of Transportation took the podium to give the latest report on the state of transportation at Tighe – and what to expect with current and future clients. Then the team dove into new fleet maintenance and fleet safety process improvements – which is always top-of-mind for the team and our drivers. Everyone enjoyed a final Q&A session with active participation, before enjoying a delicious lunch from Café Leonardo’s. It was great to see everyone, and we can’t wait for the next one!
