Ayer, MA. – Tighe Warehousing and Distribution, Inc. was recently selected by Pan Am Railways, Inc. to operate a major rail served distribution center located in Ayer, Massachusetts. The Ayer Distribution Center will service Pan Am Railway and Tighe customers seeking efficient rail and intermodal distribution throughout the United States. Strategically located at the former Fort Devens military base, the facility sits at the front entrance to Pan Am’s extensive intermodal facility. The 110,000 square foot facility can accommodate up to eleven (11) railcars at one time and can accept multiple switches each day.
